The Coles County Farm Bureau® Foundation was started in 1993 by the Coles County Farm Bureau® to be able to provide funding to local students for educational opportunities. Since then, the Coles County Farm Bureau Foundation® has awarded over $500,000 in scholarships.
The purposes of the Coles County Farm Bureau® Foundation are to provide educational opportunity for persons studying agricultural and related fields and to encourage, promote, and fund the design, development, and distribution of educational and instructional materials and programs to provide improved instruction about agriculture and its related fields.
The Coles County Farm Bureau® Foundation has been determined to be a non-profit organization under Internal Revenue Code 501(c)(3).
